Astro Malaysia Holdings Berhad (“AMH”) wishes to announce that the following wholly-owned subsidiaries of AMH (“Subsidiaries”) had commenced member’s voluntary winding-up pursuant to Section 439(1)(b) of the Companies Act 2016 (“Voluntary Winding-Up”). Mr. Gerard Thiagarajan A/L Rajaratnam of Unit C-02-03, Level 2, Block C, Southbank Commercial Centre, No. 179, Jalan Klang Lama, 58000 Kuala Lumpur has been appointed as Liquidator of the Subsidiaries:

The Voluntary Winding-Up is part of a group streamlining exercise undertaken by AMH, and the Subsidiaries were either dormant or inactive prior to the commencement of the Voluntary Winding-Up.

This exercise is not expected to have any material impact on the earnings and net assets of the AMH group for the financial year ended 31 January 2025, nor expected to have any impact on the operations of the AMH group.

None of the Directors or major shareholders and/or persons connected with a Director or major shareholder of AMH have any interest, direct or indirect, in the Voluntary Winding-Up.
