Mr. Chen Fuxiang brings 30 years of banking experience across major financial institutions. He began his career at Bank of China (Malaysia) and subsequently served as Branch Manager at Hong Leong Bank.  

From 2006 to 2012, Mr. Chen excelled at UOB Bank (Malaysia) in several leadership roles, earning accolades including the UOB/UniAsia Life Insurance Elite Club Builder Award, Top Branch Manager Award, Business Banking Lending Campaign Runner-up and multiple awards for Deposit Campaigns.  As Vice President ("VP") and Head of Partner Management, he developed strategic alliances in real estate financing, SME lending, and bancassurance, establishing a network of 50 property developers and enterprises.  Before that, as VP and Head of Corporate Wealth Management, he drove significant growth in corporate deposits and client acquisition by spearheading targeted campaigns and streamlining integration between business units and cash management fulfilment teams.  During his tenure, Mr. Chen successfully managed twin branches, leading high-performing teams to achieve loan and deposit growth.

At ICBC (Malaysia) Bhd (2012-2018), he served as Branch Manager and Head of SME & Secured Lending.  Mr. Chen drove business growth across key areas including loans, deposits and client acquisition.  He managed key client relationships, conducted credit risk evaluations, and facilitated cross-border RMB settlements.

In 2019, Mr. Chen transitioned to real estate as Executive Director at First Pacific Valuers Property Consultants Sdn Bhd, where he led business development and strategic partnerships until his retirement in 2023. Beyond his professional career, Mr. Chen has served as an Industry/Commercial Assessor for Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) since 2014 and as an Industry Advisor to Help College Arts & Technology since 2013.
