We refer to the announcement made on 17 February 2025 and 19 February 2025. Please find the additional details of the litigation case (Civil Suit No. WA-22NCC-93-02/2025):-

The Company wishes to inform that the Case Management fixed on 17 March 2025 has been heard, where the Court has been informed that:-

1. Syarikat Muhibah Perniagaan dan Pembinaan Sdn Bhd (“SMPP”) (“1st Plaintiff”) has filed an application for an anti-arbitration injunction against Turnpike Synergy Sdn Bhd (a subsidiary of PROLINTAS Group of Companies) (“1st Defendant”) on 5 March 2025 (“Anti-Arbitration Injunction Application”);
2. The 1st Defendant has filed an application for stay of civil suit against the 1st Plaintiff under Section 10 of the Arbitration Act 2005 on 14 March 2025 (“Stay Application”); and
3. The 1st Defendant has filed an application to strike out Gabungan Strategik Sdn Bhd (“GSSB”) (“2nd Plaintiff”)’s action in the civil suit (“Striking Out Application”).

The Court has then directed:-

1. The 1st Plaintiff and 1st Defendant to file all affidavits for the Anti-Arbitration Injunction Application and Stay Application on or before 19 May 2025.
2. The 1st Plaintiff and 1st Defendant to file all written submissions for the Anti-Arbitration Injunction Application and Stay Application on or before 26 May 2025.
3. The Court will hear both the Anti-Arbitration Injunction Application and Stay Application on 11 June 2025. 
4. If any Defendants are to file a Statement of Defence, this must be done so on or before 14 April 2025.

The Court also ordered that leave is granted to the 1st Defendant to stay the filing of the 1st Defendant’s Statement of Defence pending the disposal of the Striking Out Application.
