NEXG BERHAD (FORMERLY KNOWN AS DATASONIC GROUP BERHAD) (“NEXG” OR “THE COMPANY”) 
- ACQUISITION OF 175,000,000 ORDINARY SHARES IN MMAG HOLDINGS BERHAD

We refer to the Company’s announcement dated 27 March 2025, in respect of the aforesaid matter.

In this connection, kindly furnish Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Bursa Securities") with the following additional information for public release:-

1) To disclose the identity of the vendor(s) that disposed 45 million (1.95%) MMAG shares to NEXG and the source of funds for the acquisition.

2) To tabulate the segmental revenue and loss before tax/after tax of MMAG for the past 3 financial years. Based on MMAG past financial performance, to further justify the rationale for the significant  investment made on MMAG.

3) To disclose the Group’s current cash and bank balances, and justify the sufficiency of funding the Purchase Consideration through internally generated funds.

4) As mentioned in Section 4, the Investment is expected to complement and provide synergies to the Group's transportation and logistics business. In this regard, to further elaborate the Group’s transportation and logistics business and how the investment would provide synergies to the Group's transportation and logistics business.

5) As the Company is currently undertaking a private placement, to further justify in detail the reasons for pursuing the Investment instead of utilising its internally generated funds for the purposes as detailed in its announcements dated 25 February 2025 and 6 March 2025 in relation to the private placement.

6) Noted that the 2nd and 3rd points under Section 3 are opportunities which will benefit MMAG instead of NEXG. As such, to elaborate/ provide further justification on the rationale and benefits to NEXG in undertaking the Investment.
