The Board of Directors of WEGMANS wishes to announce that the Company proposes to seek the shareholders' approval for the proposed renewal of authority for the Company to purchase its own ordinary shares of up to ten percent (10%) of the issued shares capital in the Company (“Proposed Renewal of Authority”).

The Company had on 28 May 2024, obtained its shareholders' mandate to purchase in aggregate of up to ten percent (10%) of its issued shares capital. The said mandate shall lapse at the conclusion of the forthcoming annual general meeting ("AGM") of WEGMANS, unless approval for its renewal is obtained from the shareholders of the Company at the forthcoming AGM.

A Statement to Shareholders containing the details of the Proposed Renewal of Authority will be despatched to the shareholders of WEGMANS in due course.
