The Board of Directors of Mlabs Systems Berhad ("Mlabs” or "the Company") wishes to announce that the Company had on 25 April 2025 received a notice in writing dated 25 April 2025 (“Notice”) from Messrs CAS Malaysia PLT (“CAS”) on their resignation as Auditors of the Company pursuant to Section 281(1) of the Companies Act 2016 ("the Act"). 

Pursuant to the Act, CAS's term of office as Auditors of the Company shall end after 21 days from the date of the Notice. The resignation of CAS is on voluntary basis and due to the internal restructuring exercise undertaken by CAS.

Save for the above, the Board is not aware of any other matters that required to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Company.  

Mlabs will identify and appoint new Auditors to fill the casual vacancy pursuant to Section 271(2)(b) of the Act. Further announcement on the engagement of a new Auditors will be made by the Company in due course once the appointment of the new Auditors is finalised by the Board.
