She started her career in 1991 and after a decade in external audit and investment banking, she joined DRB-HICOM Berhad as a Senior Manager in the Corporate Finance & Advisory Department. In 2007, she joined MISC Berhad and was promoted to Head of Special Projects, Mergers & Acquisitions in the Corporate Planning Department. She also served as a non-independent Board member of several joint-venture and subsidiary companies of MISC Berhad. Her last position was with Tropicana Corporation Berhad, where she served as the Executive Director, Corporate Finance & Investor Relations until 2018.

Her career spans the breadth and depth of industries such as energy (oil & gas) shipping, tank storage terminals, integrated land logistics, cold chain logistics, automotive manufacturing and distribution, warehousing and property development. In these industries, her experience spans across group strategic planning, special corporate projects which included major IPOs, major restructuring exercises, international mergers and acquisitions, material divestments and group investor relations.

She is a graduate of the 30% Club Malaysia Board Mentoring Scheme (2nd Cohort, 2018) and has been a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia (ICDM) since 2018.  She is familiar with sustainability reporting standards and the Bursa Malaysia's Enhanced Sustainability Reporting Framework.
