Mr. Ang Si Eeng ("Mr Steven Ang") has close to 28 years of experience in corporate finance, corporate strategy, business planning, mergers and acquisitions, and auditing. He began his career in 1998 as an Audit Senior at Deloitte Malaysia, managing clients across diverse industries. He later held finance leadership roles in multinational corporations such as Dell Asia Pacific and Agilent Technologies, where he led teams in accounting, planning, reporting, M&A, and international tax.
In 2007, Mr. Steven Ang took on international roles in the Middle East, serving as Corporate Finance Manager at Nakheel PJSC in Dubai and as Finance Controller at Msheireb Properties in Qatar, overseeing fundraising, investment, and treasury functions. He returned to Malaysia in 2012 to join Destination Resorts and Hotels (a Khazanah subsidiary) as SVP of Corporate Strategy.
From 2014, he served as CFO of a Bursa Malaysia Main Market-listed company involved in construction, property, and energy, overseeing a broad portfolio including finance, investor relations, and IT. In 2019, he became CFO of a property development company in Kuala Lumpur.
He joined George Kent (Malaysia) Berhad on 17 February 2025 as Senior General Manager - Finance. Upon confirmation of his employment on 5 May 2025 he was re-designated as Chief Financial Officer, to Head Finance & Control Department.. |
