Ms Samantha Tai Yit Chan is the Country Chief Executive Officer of Boardroom Malaysia and Malaysian Issuing House. She has over 30 years in the corporate governance and corporate secretarial industry. Ms Samantha Tai advises corporate leaders in Malaysia and around the region on compliance, corporate governance and board advisory services such as board evaluation and sustainability. She is also a Chartered Governance Professional as well as a Council Member and of the Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (MAICSA). She currently serves as the Chairman of the Technical Compliance & Governance Committee (TCGC), as well as a member of the Education Committee, Young Company Secretaries Working Group, and Thought Leadership Committee. Additionally, she represents the Institute on the ASEAN Corporate Secretaries Network (ACSN). She also advises on due diligence reviews for corporate restructuring, IPO processes and roll-outs, virtual meeting management and governance related advisory as well as liquidation and preparation of circulars for submission to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.
