The abbreviations and terms referred to in the previous announcement are applied and shall have the same meaning in this announcement.

The Board of Directors of Ireka Corporation Berhad (“ICB” or “the Company”) would like to further announce as follows:

The Company was informed on 4 June 2025 by its solicitors, Messrs Salleh & Khan that the Kuala Lumpur Industrial Court (“Industrial Court”) via an Award dated 7 May 2025 has dismissed all fifty-eight (58) applications filed by the claimants seeking to substitute the Company in place of Ireka Engineering & Construction Sdn Bhd (“IECSB”) as the respondent.

In its decision, the Industrial Court held that the claimants had failed to establish a prima facie case demonstrating that the Company exercised control over the day-to-day operations of IECSB, or that there was any overlap in personnel to suggest such control. Furthermore, the Industrial Court found no evidence to support the assertion that the Company was the actual employer of the claimants.

Additionally, pursuant to Section 29(fa) of the Industrial Relations Act 1967, the Industrial Court also ordered that all 58 cases be struck off, having found that initiating proceedings against a company in liquidation without prior leave from the Winding-Up Court is procedurally improper and may set a precedent for similar unfounded claims.

The Company will make further announcements as necessary should there by any material developments in respect of this matter.
