The Board of Directors (“Board”) of Metronic Global Berhad (“Company”) wishes to announce that the Company had on 17 June 2025, received a notice in writing dated 17 June 2025 from Messrs ChengCo PLT on their resignation as auditors of the Company pursuant to Section 281(1) of the Companies Act 2016 with immediate effect.

The resignation of Messrs ChengCo PLT was due to the suspension of firm’s registration status with the Audit Oversight Board of the Securities Commission Malaysia.

The Company will appoint another audit firm as the new External Auditors of the Company, and further announcement on the appointment of the new External Auditors of the Company will be made by the Company in due course.

Save for the above, the Board is not aware of any matters that need to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Company.
