The Board of Directors of WCT Holdings Berhad (“WCT” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, WCT Berhad (“WCTB”) has on 4 July 2025 executed and accepted a letter of acceptance dated 1 July 2025 issued by Projek Lebuhraya Usahasama Berhad accepting WCTB’s tender offer to undertake and execute the works for “Pembinaan Lorong Tambahan Lebuhraya Utara – Selatan (PLUS) dari Yong Peng (Utara) ke Senai (Utara) Fasa 2: Sedenak – Simpang Renggam” for a contract sum of RM365,223,223.00 (inclusive of SST) (“the Contract”).

The works under the Contract encompasses amongst others site clearance, demolition works, earthworks, drainage works, pavement works, road markings, road furniture, geotechnical works, bridge structures, environmental protection works, relocation of utilities, road lighting systems and extension of vehicular box culverts.

The above works under the Contract are expected to be completed within 36 months from 28 July 2025, the date of commencement.

None of the Directors or major shareholders of the Company or persons connected with them have any interest, direct or indirect, in the award of the Contract.
