The Board of Directors of Securemetric wishes to announce that the Company had on 15 July 2025 received a notice in writing from UHY Malaysia PLT on their resignation as Auditor of the Company and Group. Pursuant to Section 281(1) of the Companies Act 2016, the term of office of UHY Malaysia PLT shall come to an end after twenty-one (21) days from the date of their notice on 15 July 2025.

UHY Malaysia PLT was re-appointed as the Auditors of the Company at the last Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) of the Company held on 29 May 2025 and was to hold office until the conclusion of the next AGM of the Company.

The resignation of UHY Malaysia PLT is based on mutual consent and the Board of Directors of the Company (the "Board") is of the view that such change will enable the Company and Group to benefit from fresh perspectives and views of another professional audit firm.

Save for the above, the Board wishes to inform that the Company is not aware of any other matters or circumstances that may be required to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of Securemetric.

Further announcement on the appointment of a new Auditor will be made by the Company in due course once it is deliberated and finalised by the Board.
