KUALA LUMPUR: Selangor Dredging Bhd (SDB) group managing director, Teh Lip Kim, was honoured recently with the FIABCI Malaysia Property Award for 'Property Woman of the Year 2023'.

Teh said she was humbled to have received the 'Property Woman of the Year 2023' award by the FIABCI Malaysian Chapter, attributing its significance to the collective dedication and diligence of the entire SDB team.

"This accolade is not mine alone but a testament to the unwavering dedication and hard work of our entire team at SDB," she said.

Under her stewardship, the boutique developer embarked on a transformative journey in 2004, marked by the pioneering development of Park Seven.

This residential high-rise, situated in the KLCC vicinity, stands as Malaysia's inaugural earthquake-resistant residential building. The 20-storey building was completed in 2008.

Teh's visionary leadership has profoundly shaped SDB's trajectory and accomplishments.

The company, which began in 1962, has, to date, completed 24 residential developments across Malaysia and Singapore, firmly establishing itself as a premier boutique property developer.

Acknowledging the trust and support of SDB's purchasers and stakeholders, Teh extended gratitude, recognising their role in the company's success.

She underscored how this accolade fuels their ongoing pursuit of the highest standards, reaffirming their dedication to crafting spaces that enhance lives and communities.

To date, SDB has been awarded with 7 FIABCI Prix d'Excellence Awards, 6 FIABCI Malaysia Awards, and 4 FIABCI Singapore Awards.
