KUALA LUMPUR: Colform Group Bhd is acquiring a leasehold industrial land at Pulau Indah Industrial Park, Klang for RM25.2 million

Its unit Colform Sdn Bhd signed a sale and purchase agreement with Central Spectrum (M) Sdn Bhd to buy the land that spans 29,595 square metres in an effort to expand into Peninsular Malaysia to strengthen its manufacturing footprint and enhance operational efficiency.

The land will be developed to house Colform's new production facilities and office complex, serving as the group's primary operational hub in the central region.

The site offers connectivity to Port Klang's West Port and North Port, major expressways such as Shah Alam Expressway and South Klang Valley Expressway providing strong logistical synergies to support the group's nationwide expansion.

Colform managing director Kang Ket Hung said the acquisition represents a strategic milestone for the company.

"With this expansion, we will be able to streamline logistics, improve cost efficiency, and strengthen our delivery network to better serve customers across the country.

"The Pulau Indah location offers exceptional accessibility and growth potential, making it the ideal site for our next phase of expansion," he added.

Colform expects this sustained momentum to drive demand for downstream steel and building materials, aligning with the group's core business.

Colform's share price rose half a sen or 1.49 per cent to 34 sen on Monday, valuing the company at RM201 million.
