KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 31): Enproserve Group Bhd (KL:ENPRO) has secured an onshore pipeline maintenance services contract from Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd.

The mechanical and civil engineering firm will provide maintenance services for onshore pipeline sections for Petronas Carigali facilities in the east coast region of Peninsular Malaysia for two years, Enproserve said in a statement Friday.

The job scope includes the provision of preventive and corrective measures, emergency repair, civil works, onshore coating services and maintenance of cathodic protection system.

No contract value was disclosed as it will be based on work orders issued by Petronas Carigali throughout its duration.

“This marks an expansion of our upstream onshore capabilities, a natural extension of our core expertise in delivering safe, reliable and efficiency maintenance solutions,” said Enproserve group CEO Mohd Nizam Yaakub.

The contract was accepted by Enproserve's subsidiary Enproserve (M) Sdn Bhd on Oct 7.

Shares in Enproserve ended half a sen or 2.13% lower at 23 sen on Friday, valuing the group at RM241.5 million.
