KUALA LUMPUR: Enproserve Group Bhd's unit Enproserve (M) Sdn Bhd has secured a two-year contract from Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd for the provision of onshore pipeline maintenance services.
The scope of work involves comprehensive services to maintain the integrity of onshore pipeline sections for Petronas Carigali's facilities located in the East Coast region of Malaysia, the group said in a bourse filing.
The works include preventive and corrective measures, such as refurbishment of pipelines and associated facilities, including pipe supports.
Enproserve will also provide emergency repair capabilities, civil works, and services for onshore coating and cathodic protection system maintenance.
The contract is expected to boost the group's earnings over its duration and expands the mechanical and civil engineering services firm's presence in the upstream onshore sector.
Group chief executive officer Mohd Nizam Yaakub said securing the contract reinforces the company's position as a trusted partner in the country's oil and gas, and petrochemical ecosystem.
"This marks an expansion of our upstream onshore capabilities, a natural extension of our core expertise in delivering safe, reliable, and efficient maintenance solutions.
"By providing proactive asset integrity management solutions, we help our clients enhance operational efficiency, extend the lifespan of their assets and prevent costly issues before they escalate, contributing to the reliability of the nation's energy infrastructure," he added.
