ICT Zone gets RM23.8m ICT hardware order

KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 30): ICT Zone Asia Bhd (KL:ICTZONE) has secured a RM23.82 million purchase order from an undisclosed information and communications technology (ICT) hardware and software company.

The order, received by its unit ICT Zone Sdn Bhd, comprises hardware such as laptops and mice, according to a bourse filing on Friday.

It will be fulfilled upon delivery to the undisclosed company on a date to be determined and agreed upon later.

ICT Zone noted it is unable to disclose the identity of the ICT company due to a confidentiality and publicity clause.

Co-founded in 2000 by managing director Tommy Lim and Datuk Seri Ng Thien Phing — founder of Main Market-listed property firm SkyWorld Development Bhd (KL:SKYWLD) — ICT Zone started with trading of audio-visual equipment.

The company later evolved into a hybrid technology financing provider that blends ICT solutions with leasing, services and recurring revenue.

Shares in the ACE Market-listed ICT Zone ended unchanged at 18 sen on Friday, valuing the company at RM143.18 million.
