OGX Group Bhd’s wholly owned subsidiary, OGX Networks Sdn Bhd, has entered into a distributorship agreement with Nokia Services and Networks Malaysia Sdn Bhd for an initial term of three years, with automatic renewal thereafter.

KUALA LUMPUR: OGX Group Bhd's wholly owned subsidiary, OGX Networks Sdn Bhd, has entered into a distributorship agreement with Nokia Services and Networks Malaysia Sdn Bhd for an initial term of three years, with automatic renewal thereafter.

Under the agreement, OGX will act as an authorised distributor of Nokia's networking IT infrastructure products and services in Malaysia, allowing it to market and distribute Nokia's solutions to its system integrator (SI) customers.

OGX executive director and managing director Tan Suan Loong said Nokia's addition marks the 19th technology brand principal within the group's ecosystem, strengthening its networking infrastructure portfolio.

"This appointment represents another meaningful step in strengthening our networking infrastructure portfolio and reinforces OGX's role as a trusted brand channel sales partner for global technology providers seeking to scale through Malaysia's SI ecosystem," he said in a statement.

Tan said Nokia is globally recognised for its network infrastructure capabilities, particularly in high-performance, resilient and mission-critical connectivity environments.

He added that the partnership will enhance OGX's ability to support SI partners in addressing increasingly complex enterprise, public sector and data centre requirements, while creating new opportunities for cross-selling, solution integration and deeper channel engagement.

Nokia's network infrastructure portfolio spans IP, optical, data centre, fixed and mission-critical connectivity solutions and is increasingly advancing into AI-native networking through the integration of artificial intelligence into data centre fabrics, optical networks and telecom infrastructure.

In May 2026, Nokia launched its AI Networking Innovation Lab to accelerate innovation in next-generation AI connectivity, including the design, testing and validation of high-performance networking architectures for large-scale AI training and real-time inference workloads.

OGX said the addition of Nokia Malaysia to the ecosystem is expected to broaden its ability to support customers and partners in areas such as high-performance enterprise networking, resilient connectivity infrastructure, data centre interconnectivity, AI-ready network infrastructure and scalable network modernisation.

"The expanded portfolio is expected to create greater cross-selling and solution integration opportunities across OGX's existing SI customer base, particularly as enterprises, public sector agencies and data centre operators continue to invest in secure, scalable and high-performance infrastructure to support cloud adoption, AI-driven workloads, data growth and operational resilience," it said.
