Lenovo sees stronger laptop demand

PETALING JAYA: Lenovo Malaysia is expecting a strong upward momentum in sales this year, supported by the increased demand of laptops due to continuing work from home arrangements and an exciting new line-up of devices that it will be bringing to Malaysia this year.

“Covid-19 continues to impact both supply and demand. However, Lenovo has and continues to fare better than many in the industry given our operational excellence and global/local model, ” Lenovo Malaysia’s senior sales director, relationship segment Steven Loh told StarBiz.

“We see a positive outlook for 2021, with the new hybrid work model created by work-from-home needs driving sustainable growth in ongoing device demand and cloud/infrastructure requirements, ” Loh added.

He also noted that this is so because the new-generation workforce now expects a tech enabled workplace with the flexibility of how, when, and where they work.
