PETALING JAYA: Atrium Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) saw its net income increase 5.8% to RM5.4mil for the second quarter (Q2) ended June 30, 2021, from RM5.1mil in the corresponding quarter last year on higher revenue and other income.
It announced a second interim distribution of 2.20 sen per unit, payable on Aug 30.
During the period in review, Atrium REIT’s revenue rose to RM8.86mil from RM7.61mil in the previous corresponding quarter.
This was due mainly to the rental income from Atrium Bayan Lepas 1 which commenced in October 2020, while other income was from the partial settlement amount received from a defaulted trade debtor following a consent judgement reached in January this year.
