For illustration, assuming none of the existing convertible securities of the Company are granted and/or exercised into new Shares prior to the Books Closure Date, the existing total number of 267,261,593 issued Shares (including 10,000 treasury shares) as at the date of this announcement will be subdivided into 481,070,867 Split Shares (including 18,000 treasury shares) (assuming there are no fractional entitlements).
However, assuming:-
(i) all the 133,625,329 warrants 2021/2024 of the Company ("Warrants C") as at the date of this announcement are exercised into new Shares prior to the Books Closure Date; and
(ii) all the 60,133,038 options which may be granted pursuant to the maximum allowable amount under the existing employees' share option scheme of the Company as at the date of this announcement (based on 15% of the enlarged total number of issued Shares after assuming full exercise of the Warrants C) are granted and exercised into new Shares prior to the Books Closure Date,
the enlarged total number of 461,019,960 issued Shares (including 10,000 treasury shares) will be subdivided into 829,835,928 Split Shares (including 18,000 treasury shares) (assuming there are no fractional entitlements).
Fractional entitlements for the Split Shares arising from the Share Split, if any, shall be disregarded and/or dealt with by the Board of Directors of the Company ("Board") in such manner as the Board in its absolute discretion deems fit and expedient in the best interests of the Company.
The Split Shares will be listed and quoted on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Bursa Securities") on 11 February 2021, being the next market day following the Book Closure Date.
The notices of allotment for the Share Split will be despatched to the entitled shareholders not later than 4 market days after the date of listing and quotation of the Split Shares on Bursa Securities.
