(a) Basic earnings per share (EPS) are calculated based on the profit attributable to owners of the Company divided by the weighted average number of ordinary shares issued of 391,583,303 (for 1st quarter ended 30 April 2023 - after private placement as disclosed in B13 (i)) and 358,180,000 (for 1st quarter ended 30 April 2022) respectively. (b) Diluted earnings per share (DEPS) are calculated based on the profit attributable to owners of the Company divided by the weighted average number of applicable ordinary shares 391,908,303 (for 1st quarter ended 30 April 2023 including the private placement issuance and the deemed Performance Share Grant (PSG) offer under the Employees Share Scheme (ESS) as disclosed in B13 (ii)), and 358,180,000 (for 1st quarter ended 30 April 2022) respectively. |
