Reference is made to the Company’s announcements in relation to the following proposals:

1. proposed disposal of a piece of vacant land held under title no: GM14814, Lot 279, Bandar Alor Setar, Daerah Kota Setar, Kedah Darul Aman measuring approximately 5,897 square meters (0.5897 hectares) in area whereby the express condition of the land is “tanah yang terkandung dalam hakmilik ini hendaklah digunakan bagi maksud tapak resort sahaja” (“Property 1”) by SC Estate Construction Sdn. Bhd. (“SCEC”), a wholly owned subsidiary of SCBUILD/0109, for a cash consideration of RM7,937,500.00 (“Proposed Disposal of Property 1”); and
2. proposed disposal of a piece of vacant land held under title no: GM14813, Lot 278, Bandar Alor Setar, Daerah Kota Setar, Kedah Darul Aman measuring approximately 5834 square meters (0.5834 hectares) in area whereby the express condition of the land is "tanah yang terkandung dalam hakmilik ini hendaklah digunakan bagi maksud tapak resort sahaja" ("Property 2") by SCEC, for a cash consideration of RM8,800,000.00 (“Proposed Disposal of Property 2”).

(Proposed Disposal of Property 1 and Proposed Disposal of Property 2 are collectively referred to as the “Proposals”)

Unless otherwise stated, all abbreviations used in this announcement shall have the same meaning as defined in the Announcements.

Pursuant to Rule 9.32 of the ACE Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) (“Listing Requirements”), a listed corporation is required to submit the draft circular or document to Bursa Securities or issue the circular or document as the case may be, in accordance with the Listing Requirements as soon as possible and in any event not later than 2 months from the date of the announcement or the date the last approval necessary for the corporate proposal is obtained from the relevant authority, whichever is the later.

In this regard, the Board of Directors of SCBUILD/0109 wishes to announce that an application has been submitted to Bursa Securities today to seek an extension of time for the submission of the draft circular in relation to the Proposals.
