Further to the Company's Announcement, the Board of Directors of Southern Cable is pleased to announce that Southern had on 4 February 2026 received a letter from TNB where TNB has exercised its right to request for optional value of RM121,065,549.00 (Ringgit Malaysia: One Hundred Twenty One Million Sixty Five Thousand Five Hundred Forty Nine) only. Hence, the Contract price shall increase from RM403,551,830.00 (Ringgit Malaysia: Four Hundred Three Million Five Hundred Fifty One Thousand Eight Hundred Thirty) only to RM524,617,379.00 (Ringgit Malaysia: Five Hundred Twenty Four Million Six Hundred Seventeen Thousand Three Hundred Seventy Nine) only.
