We refer to the Company's announcements dated 20 March 2025, 24 March 2025 and 25 March 2025 in respect of the above subject matter. We wish to announce a material development that in relation to the legal action by Cahya Mata and Cahya Mata Intelligent Technologies Sdn Bhd against the following 1st to 6th Defendants:
1. Dato Sri Mahmud Abu Bekir Taib ("DSM"), Deputy Group Chairman
2. Karl Vink @ Khalid Abdullah ("KV"), former Chief Information Officer and former Executive Director of Cahya Mata Intelligent Technologies Sdn Bhd
3. Atul Dua ("AD"), Managing Director of VAG
4. Izzul Bin Abdul Kamar ("Izzul"), former Senior General Manager of Cahya Mata Intelligent Technologies Sdn Bhd
5. Vienna Advantage GmbH ("VAG")
6. Vienna Advantage Asia Sdn Bhd ("VAA")
The High Court had on 18 March 2026, dismissed the striking out applications filed by the solicitors for the 1st, 2nd, and 4th Defendants as well as the solicitors for the 3rd, 5th and 6th Defendant with costs to Cahya Mata and Cahya Mata Intelligent Technologies Sdn Bhd.
Parties are proceeding to Trial with witnesses to be called to testify.
Any further material developments will be announced to Bursa Securities accordingly.
