| Working experience and occupation | Mr. Roni Lihawa Abdul Wahab ("Mr. Roni") has over 25 years of experience and held senior leadership roles in banking, investment management and corporate sectors covering business, operational & risk management, strategic planning, mergers & acquisitions, restructuring, capital markets, turnaround and change management.
Mr. Roni previously served as the Group Chief Executive Officer of Bank Pembangunan Malaysia Berhad (one of the leading Development Financial Institutions in Malaysia), where he executed a turnaround plan, change management, culture transformation and merger integration for the bank.
He has extensive experience in banking and investment management, including senior roles at Khazanah Nasional Berhad, HSBC Bank Malaysia, and Credit Suisse. He began his career with Capstar Partners and J.P. Morgan in New York.
