| Working experience and occupation | Ms. Liew Way Keng began her career in professional services at KPMG and BDO, where she advised clients on IT risk, governance and compliance. She joined Standard Chartered Bank in December 2014 and was promoted to Executive Director, Head of Information Security Risk Officers, a role she held until November 2022. Most recently, she served as Chief Information Security Officer for the Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa region at British American Tobacco, where she built the regional cybersecurity function across 50+ markets until April 2026. She is Vice President of the Women-in-Tech Wisdom Council at the ASEAN CXO Association. She serves on the Cybersecurity Board Committee of Build-A-Future Team by Peoplelogy and as a mentor with ISACA Malaysia. She is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia. |
