The Board of Directors of Tanco wishes to announce that Midports Holdings Sdn. Bhd. ("MHSB"), a 79% owned subsidiary of the Company, had on 14 July 2026 entered into a Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU") with SPG Qingdao Port Group Co., Ltd. ("SQPG") (hereinafter each shall be referred as a "Party" and together as the "Parties") in relation to MHSB's proposed Smart AI Container Port at Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan ("Port Project"), and where MHSB may embark on at such stage it deems expedient to do so, the fundraising activities in relation thereto ("the Fundraising Efforts").
