Reference is made to the Company’s announcement dated 20 July 2020 and 21 July 2020 in relation to the Proposed Bonus Issue (“Announcements”). Unless otherwise defined, the definitions used in this announcement shall have the same meanings as previously defined in the Announcements.

On behalf of the Board, HLIB is pleased to announce that Bursa Securities had, vide its letter dated 23 July 2020, resolved to approve the listing of and quotation of up to 5,476,974,322 Bonus Shares to be issued pursuant to the Proposed Bonus Issue on the Main Market of Bursa Securities.

The approval granted by Bursa Securities for the Proposed Bonus Issue is subject to the following:

1. Top Glove and HLIB must fully comply with the relevant provisions under the Main Market Listing Requirements pertaining to the implementation of the Proposed Bonus Issue;        

2. Top Glove and HLIB to inform Bursa Securities upon the completion of the Proposed Bonus Issue;   

3. Top Glove to furnish Bursa Securities with a written confirmation of its compliance with the terms and conditions of Bursa Securities’ approval once the Proposed Bonus Issue is completed; and

4. Top Glove and HLIB are required to make the relevant announcements pursuant to Paragraph 6.35(2)(a) & (b) and 6.35(4) of the Main Market Listing Requirements.
