We refer to the announcement dated 6 August 2020, 10 November 2020, 8 June 2022, 9 June 2022, 28 July 2022, 30 August 2022, 12 October 2022, 15 November 2022, 24 November 2022, 22 December 2022, 3 February 2023, 15 March 2023 and 16 March 2023(“Announcements”). Unless otherwise defined, the terms herein shall bear the same meaning as defined in the Announcements. The Company did not proceed with the acceptance (“Revised EOT Acceptance”) on the Revised EOT (extension of time up to 29 March 2023) provided by Maybank due to uncertainties in: 1. The EOT applied to Bursa which is pending decision from Bursa. 2. The eventual approval of Reg Plan by Bursa. The above uncertainties presented challenges to the Company to raise the necessary funding from external sources to pay the Settlement Sum. The due date given by Maybank to the Company for the Revised EOT Acceptance was 20 March 2023. The Company will make further announcement on any material development in due course. This announcement is dated 21 March 2023. |
