The Board of Directors of TCB is pleased to announce that TXG had on 22 August 2023 received an approval from MLGD to conduct the online money lending business within its money lending license issued by the MLGD.
The Approval will not have any material effect on the earnings per share and net assets per share of the Company for the financial year ending 31 December 2023. The Approval also will not have any effect on the share capital, gearing and substantial shareholders’ shareholdings of the Company.
None of the Directors and/or major shareholders of TCB and/or persons connected with them have any interests, direct or indirect, in the Approval.
Having considered all aspects of the Approval, the Board of Directors of the Company is of the view that the Approval is in the best interest of the Company.
