The Board of Directors of Epicon wishes to inform that Epicon intends to seek its shareholders' approval for the following proposals at the forthcoming Twenty-First Annual General Meeting of the Company: -
(i) Proposed renewal of existing shareholders' mandate and proposed new shareholders' mandate for recurrent related party transactions of a revenue and/or trading nature ("Proposed Shareholders Mandate"); and
(ii) Proposed renewal of the authority for the Company to purchase its own shares of up to ten percent (10%) of the total number of issued shares of the Company ("Proposed Renewal of Share Buy-Back Authority").
(Proposed Shareholders' Mandate and Proposed Renewal of Share Buy-Back Authority are collectively referred to as "the Proposals").
A Circular/Statement to Shareholders containing the details of the Proposals will be announced and published on the Company's and Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad's website in due course.
