The Board of Directors of AuMAS Resources Berhad (“AuMAS” or “the Company”) wishes to update on the legal proceeding concerning the Ex-Parte Injunction granted on 29 May 2025 for the protection of its operational assets.

Following incidents on or around 17 May 2025 and 24 May 2025 involving interference by Datuk Lo Fui Ming and Southsea Gold Sdn Bhd (collectively, the “Defendants”) and/or their agents with the Tailing Storage Facility (“TSF”) and its perimeter drainage system. A breach of the TSF occurred due to the diversion of a significant volume of rainwater into the tailing dam.

In response, on 27 May 2025, the Company and its wholly owned subsidiary, Wullersdorf Resources Sdn Bhd (“Wullersdorf”), filed an urgent application for an injunction to prevent further interference and to allow immediate rectification and modification works to the TSF and its perimeter drainage system.

On 29 May 2025, the High Court of Sabah granted an ex-parte injunction restraining the Defendants whether directly or through their representatives, agents, or associates from obstructing or preventing the necessary rectification and/or modification works to the TSF’s perimeter drainage system. The order also ensures unhindered access for all required vehicles, machinery, equipment, and personnel involved in the repair works.

The High Court has scheduled the inter-partes hearing of the injunction application for 12 June 2025, during which the Company and Wullersdorf will seek additional reliefs to further safeguard the integrity of Wullersdorf’s production facilities.

This injunction reinforces the Company’s commitment to protecting its operational infrastructure and is aligned with the interim legal protections previously granted by the High Court on 4 December 2023.
