Currently, he is the President of the Malaysian Chamber of Mines, Chairman of the Malaysian Tin Industry (Research & Development) Board, and Chairman of Magic Mirror Resource Consulting Sdn Bhd. He has previously served as the President of the ASEAN Federation of Mining Associations, President of the International Tin Research Institute, and CEO of Malaysia Smelting Corporation Bhd, where he significantly contributed to the company's transformation into one of the world's leading tin mining and smelting groups.
