Taking the latest dividend. The dividend reinvestment plan is based on issue price of RM8. 00 each new MBB share and designed into 2 portions:

1) Electable Portion (RM0. 17)
2) Remaining Portion (RM0. 15)

If you are holding 1,000 units and in case you decide to reinvestment the entire Electable Portion, what you will get is:

1) Electable Portion : 21 new MBB shares & balance cash RM2:
2) Remaining Portion : cash RM150

Hence, you will get Total cash RM152 & 21 new MBB share.

Of course you can sell units less than a board lot (100 units) and it is called odd lot. The point to take note on selling odd lots is there any additional payment after deduct brokerage & other fees, usually people rather not sell due to the need to pay additional.
