PETALING JAYA: The outlook of the construction sector for the remainder of the year is promising, as contractors are in a sweet spot to ramp up the progress of existing jobs and also tender for upcoming ones.
Like some other analysts taking a bullish stance on the sector, RHB Research is also upbeat on the sector, premised on improving operating conditions.
These include the lifting of the political overhang related to the recently held state elections, a high level of budgeted development expenditure at around RM90bil for 2024, ample labour supply and manageable building material prices.
