Bursa approves AHAM Capital's request to suspend trading of two ETFs for delisting

KUALA LUMPUR (March 25): AHAM Asset Management Bhd (AHAM Capital) announced that Bursa Malaysia had approved its request to suspend trading of two of its exchanged traded funds (ETF), which will take effect on Wednesday, March 26.

In two separate filings with Bursa on Tuesday, AHAM Capital said the ETFs are the TradePlus MSCI Asia Ex Japan REITs Tracker Fund and TradePlus DWA Malaysia Momentum Tracker Fund.

“The suspension of trading is to facilitate the ETF termination process and will remain in effect until the ETFs are officially delisted from Bursa.

“The suspension request is made pursuant to Paragraph 3.1(c) of Practice Note 2 under the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa,” it added.
