KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 13): Paramount Corporation Bhd (KL:PARAMON) recorded a higher net profit of RM118.82 million for the financial year ended Dec 31, 2025 (FY2025), a 16% increase from RM102.45 million last year.

Revenue for the year eased by 9% to RM946.87 million from RM1.04 billion previously due to lower revenue in property and investment and other segments, a Bursa Malaysia filing said on Friday.

“Revenue for its property segment was seven per cent lower at RM897.7 million from RM965.3 million in FY2024, with The Atera development in Selangor being the largest contributor, followed by Utropolis Batu Kawan development in Penang and Bukit Banyan development in Kedah.

“The investment and others segment recorded revenue of RM33.9 million in FY2025, a 40% decrease from RM56.5 million in the previous year, mainly due to the absence of dividend income from EWI Capital Bhd,” the filing said.

Quarterly, the group’s net profit rose to RM57.6 million in 4QFY2025 from RM54.12 million a year ago.

Revenue for the quarter under review dropped 29% to RM257.96 million from RM361.09 million previously.

On its prospects, Paramount anticipates a satisfactory financial outlook for FY2026, underpinned by a solid property sales pipeline with unbilled sales of RM1.5 billion as at Dec 31, 2025, and the implementation of cost optimisation initiatives.

The group declared a single-tier second interim dividend of 4.5 sen per share for FY2025, to be paid on March 13, 2026, to shareholders whose names appear in the record of depositors on March 4, 2026, the filing said.
