KUALA LUMPUR: Sunway Construction Group Bhd
’s (SunCon) unit, Sunway Construction Sdn Bhd (SCSB) has signed an agreement with MRCB George Kent (MRCBGK) for Package GS07-08 of the Light Rail Transit Line 3 (LRT3) project from Bandar Utama to Johan Setia by Prasarana Malaysia Bhd.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, SunCon said the agreement was signed yesterday following the appointment of MRCBGK as a turnkey contractor as a result of the change from a project delivery partnership to a turnkey contract pursuant to a contract between Prasarana and MRCBGK.
“Pursuant to the agreement, the scope of works in the Package GS07-08 contract has been revised and agreed with the salient amendments, ” it said.
