PETALING JAYA: Kejuruteraan Asastera Bhd (KAB) has appointed Datuk Dr Ong Peng Su its chairman with immediate effect.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, the electrical and mechanical engineering services provider said Ong brings with him more than 35 years of experience in the power industry.
During his years in the energy sector, Ong held various directorships in companies both within and outside Malaysia and sat on the board of several Powertek Energy Bhd’s associated companies, namely, Asia Gulf Power Holding Company Ltd, Asia Gulf Power Service Co Ltd and Taweelah Asia Power Co PJSC.
