❌ NOT allowed to vote (must abstain):
The offeror (e.g., Genting Berhad if it’s the party acquiring shares)
Persons acting in concert (PACs)
Related parties (directly or indirectly involved in the delisting proposal)
These shareholders cannot vote because they have a conflict of interest

All shareholders can vote in EGM EXCEPT the offeror and related parties for delisting.
I got 50000 units. Accumulated since covid. Average price RM2.17. Not selling as suspected the share price was manipulated so that they can acquire it very cheap. Seem like it was all along planned to con the loyal retail investors. I pity those invested at very high price. In actual fact GenM got very bright future.
If Gent unable to aquire more than 75%, the delisting will failed. Trading will continue and share price most likely will shoot up to +/- RM3.00.
Note: Kenanga IB is the appointed independent advisor for this vto exercise.
Based on the above, Kenanga IB is of the view that the Offer is NOT FAIR as the Offer Price represents a discount of between 32.47% to 37.67% to the estimated value of GENM Shares of between RM3.48 and RM3.77 per GENM Share derived from using the SOPV method, as well as a discount to the 1-year and 2-year high market price of GENM Shares up to the Notice LTD. For Holder’s information, the latest unaudited NA per GENM Share as at 30 June 2025 is RM2.07.
Very high chance of vto failing at 1st attempt. Can see that some Gent share holder are worried. Not only Gent and uncle Lim buying in open market but foreign fund also buying. Very likely need to offer higher price to be successful.
There are suspicious and potential share price manipulation before the VTO. 1) Let it slipped out of index stock. 2) Inter company lawsuits. 3) Not distributing dividend even the make solid profit. Div distributed even during hard times like covid. All these cause the share dropped significantly. Can't help feeling suspicious.
