林丽兰：去年中暴增30%
出货期排到明年

麻坡家具厂商业者林丽兰向《南洋商报》说，去年5至6月，家具出口的订单开始按月暴增20至30%，大部分出口到美国、日本及欧洲国家。

她说，去年爆发冠病疫情，美国方面不少人开始居家办公，每周获得政府补贴600美元（约2425令吉），顾客把手头上多余的钱添购家具。

“客厅的沙发、茶几、餐桌及书房的办公桌等，都是热销产品。”

她指出，工厂从去年中就马不停蹄加班生产家具，不仅购置新的设备同时也外包一些加工，为的就是提高生产效率，尽快出货。

“去年12月的订单最快要等到今年4或5月才能出货，目前的订单也排期到明年出货。”
