yes this is why I'm worried. It is clear that the main people in Lambo (Directors and major investors) who are reading investor comments here and on i3 are seriously not creating confidence.
1. There is no announcement for consolidation. But it will happen soon is my guess.
2. The PP will dilute shares and for Lambo a tech company going into wine business is shaky. Even website is pathetic.
Rex Lai, are you sure? it seems after PP will consolidate 10:1 based on example given
Total shares will be 4.65bil after PP, I don't see this as positive news for angpao..

yes you will end up profit if your cost is below .02 pre-consolidation price and sell all, but MLAB will gap down below .15 before you can sell on Monday though ;)
.09 is the set rights issue price in the official announcement
Recently (about 2weeks ago) vivocom or another counter right issue went up 2 or 3 times. There's some chance MLAB-OR will plunge and rise up to 2 or 3 times towards 23 Nov (last day of trading MLAB-OR). This is to flush out weak holders.
When MLAB-OR falls MLAB will also fall close to the rights price but towards 23 Nov it will climb back up to 0.15-0.2.
In any case, it's free money (RM 0.54 x Shares) if MLAB goes back to consolidation price of 0.20 for those bought at 0.02 pre-consolidation
actually Maybank dividend players are happy because they keep few hundred thousand to millions of RM in it so they don't mind because can sleep and get good dividend every year. but they don't know if they only use less than half of Maybank capital to invest in some other high growth penny counter, by now maybe more than their dividend yield over 12 years.
just my opinion, there's no right or wrong if you stick with any option because it's your money and your returns.
once the OR appears in your account and you don't want to subscribe to the RI, please, don't keep it there (I'm not sure until how long it will stay there) just sell it.
