Tan Tian Wooi, TGS TW’s group managing partner, was fined RM50,000, while partner Lim Ge Ru was fined RM25,000.
According to the regulator, Tan had failed to perform adequate audit procedures and obtain sufficient appropriate audit evidence to support conclusions and the basis of the audit opinion in several areas.
Lim Ge Ru is Zetrix auditors who signed auditors' report, according to The Edge date 29.9.2026, she had fined by SC due to failed to review multi area.
The distinction to remember: The RM25,000 regulatory fine she received in June 2026 was for auditing errors she made at a different public interest entity back in 2022. It was not due to her work on Zetrix.
