Oriental Holdings has rock-solid fundamentals and a massive cash pile, but that conservative dividend policy is a total drag on total returns. Unless they start deploying that capital for growth or better payouts, you're basically paying for an expensive savings account instead of a compounding stock.
If 2Q unable to achieve > 10 sen of EPS this counter is totally USELESS!! Keeping so cash for what!!I would suggest to recruit some porfessional to fully utilise the cash. or else take it private and adopt NTA of RM11.3 as buy back offer.
Management keeps hoarding the cash instead of rewarding loyal shareholders properly even with those solid earnings. This stingy payout policy really makes it hard to get excited about holding this counter for long term yield.
I see nothing so far.... after spent 1.2 billion to acuire 7096 hectare of palm oil next gen spent 411 million toacuire probably family own hotels....I am more concern about the return of investment!!! There is no figure to showso far!!
