KUALA LUMPUR: Kumpulan Kitacon Bhd's subsidiary, Kitacon Sdn Bhd, has secured main building works, including ancillary and infrastructure works from Sime Darby Property (Lagong) Sdn Bhd valued at RM60.81 million.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, Kumpulan Kitacon said Project i27 includes constructing 22 units of 2-storey semi-detached factories with mezzanine (Type B1), a refuse chamber and an electric vehicle (EV) charging bay, among others," it said.

"The contract commences on Nov 27 and is to be completed within 24 months from the commencement date," it said.

The contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets per share of Kumpulan Kitacon for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2025 onwards.
