KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 26): Here is a brief recap of some corporate announcements that made the news on Friday.

TRC Synergy Bhd (KL:TRC) has secured a RM550.8 million contract from SRS Consortium Sdn Bhd for the Penang LRT Mutiara Line. The  package includes viaduct guideways, stations, bridge girder launching, post-tensioning, grouting, and related works. SRS Consortium is a Gamuda Bhd (KL:GAMUDA)-led joint venture.  TRC Synergy clinches RM551m sub-package contract for Penang LRT Mutiara Line 

NationGate Holdings Bhd (KL:NATGATE) will acquire Valeo Malaysia CDA Sdn Bhd from French automotive supplier Valeo SE for RM60.89 million in cash. Valeo Malaysia manufactures plastic injection-moulded components, printed circuit board assemblies and automotive modules. NationGate said the deal supports its strategy to strengthen and expand its core business, broaden its customer base and secure direct access to key automotive end clients. PETRONAS Gas Bhd (KL:PETGAS) has announced revised tariffs for gas transportation and regasification services under Regulatory Period 3 (RP3), which runs from January 2026 to December 2028. Approved by the Energy Commission, the Peninsular Gas Utilisation (PGU) transportation tariff is set at RM1.196 per gigajoule per day (GJ/day), with an allowed tariff of RM1.204 per GJ/day. The compression tariff for high-pressure gas supplied to Singapore has been fixed at RM1.609 per GJ/day, with an allowed tariff of RM1.592 per GJ/day. Meanwhile, the Regas Terminal Sungai Udang (RGTSU) tariff is RM3.542 per GJ/day, with an allowed tariff of RM3.540 per GJ/day, while the Regas Terminal Pengerang (RGTP) will charge RM3.142 per GJ/day, with an allowed tariff of RM3.103 per GJ/day. Gas Malaysia Bhd (KL:GASMSIA) said its base average tariff for natural gas distribution will rise to RM1.880 per GJ/day under RP3 (Jan 2026–Dec 2028). Its wholly-owned subsidiary, Gas Malaysia Distribution Sdn Bhd, will see its incentive-based regulation (IBR) tariff rise to RM2.114 per GJ/day, compared with RM1.568 previously. Resintech Bhd (KL:RESINTC) has secured a RM16.07 million contract to supply plastic water pipes and fittings in Cambodia.
