KUALA LUMPUR: Aneka Jaringan Holdings Bhd's net profit for the first quarter ended Nov 30, 2025 fell 43.4 per cent to RM933,000 from RM2.15 million a year earlier, mainly due to higher operating costs and tax expenses.

Despite the weaker bottom line, its revenue rose 3.7 per cent to RM82.42 million from RM79.47 million, according to the company's filing with Bursa Malaysia.

Aneka Jaringan's earnings per share declined to 0.13 sen from 0.32 sen previously.

During the quarter, Aneka Jaringan said it continued to progress piling and substructure works aligned with its technical expertise.

As at the date of the report, the company secured additional projects with a total contract value of RM87.87 million, reinforcing earnings visibility and order flow for financial year 2026.

Managing director Pang Tse Fui said the group's strong revenue growth reflected improving execution momentum as it enters financial year 2026, supported by higher activity levels across its project sites.

"While profitability normalised from the previous quarter, our focus on disciplined execution, cost control, and governance continues to support sustainable performance," he said in a separate statement.

Aneka Jaringan remains cautiously optimistic on the construction outlook for financial year 2026.

With improving execution momentum, a growing order pipeline, and a disciplined financial foundation, the company said it is well positioned to sustain operational performance and earnings continuity in the quarters ahead.
