Allianz Malaysia and MI Technovation will be added to the MSCI Malaysia Small Cap Index, MSCI said in a statement.
The changes will take effect after the close of trading on Aug. 31. MSCI's next index review is scheduled for Nov. 11.
The group expects the momentum to continue in the fourth quarter of this year as it anticipates a “period of strategic growth and stable performance”, with its semiconductor equipment unit expected to post “double-digit growth” and the semiconductor materials unit to “maintain strong growth”.
